Freshman setter Jenny Woolway had just a couple weeks to adjust to UC Davis volleyball before her first game as an Aggie.
It’s safe to say Woolway is a fast learner.
The San Diego, Calif. native started every match and played in every game as the setter in her inaugural campaign at UC Davis and put up solid numbers.
Woolway finished the year with 1288 assists, good for first in the Big West Conference. She also averaged 11.30 assists per game, ranking her second in the Big West and 22nd in the nation.
Woolway showed no fear matching up against more experienced opponents. The Aggies will be in good hands with her leading the offense for the next three years.
The California Aggie would like to open up Woolway’s collegiate trophy case and name her the top Female Freshman of the Quarter.
