Hometown: San Clemente, Calif.

Sophomore sensation Austin Graham had about as good of a year as one can have.

His 72.0 scoring average was tops on a team that skyrocketed to as high as No. 24 in the country and that captured a Big West Conference title.

Individually, he seemed only to get batter as the year progressed as he won the Big West Tournament and was named to the all-conference first team.

He was the co-medalist in the U.S. Open local qualifying tournament in May while also qualifying for the U.S. Open sectionals on June 8 in hopes of ultimately qualifying for the U.S. Open.

Graham will be back next year with goals of leading the Aggies to another Big West title and possibly a national championship.

Nate Pistacchio

Name: Nate Pistacchio

Year: Senior

Hometown: Fresno, Calif.

 

Senior Nate Pistacchio held nothing back in his final year at UC Davis as he helped the Aggies to their first Big West title in school history.

He enjoyed his finest season as an Aggie, earning All-Big West Conference first-team honors as well as Big West Golfer of the Month honors for October.

Pistaccio played his best golf in October as he had two top-10 finishes including a tie for first at The Prestige at PGA West, a tournament that featured 10 ranked teams.

Pistacchio finished each round under par and stayed at the top of the leaderboard throughout the tournament to post a 6-under. Pistacchio was a big part of the Aggies‘ Big West Championship and his presence on the course will be missed next year.
